In 2020, the Lift & Move USA program, known for its live events nationwide, was tasked with developing another vehicle to bring together the community and raise industry awareness for career opportunities in crane, rigging, and specialized transport.  The Workforce Ambassadors Program is a group of SC&RA companies committed to raising awareness in their community. This could still be with a live event but could also be through internships, career fairs, or working side-by-side with educators. The Skills Gap

Crane, rigging and specialized transportation companies rely on people with technical skills. Predictions indicate a Craft Labor Shortage of 1.9 MIL by 2025. It's time for companies to build awareness and build thier future workforce.  The SC&RF research study "The State of the Workforce in Crane, Rigging, and Specialized Transportation" will be released in May 2023.
